Privacy Policy

Summary. Your profile, price alerts, and follows are stored in your own browser. If you create or join a group plan, or sign up through a referral link, the name you enter is stored on our servers so other participants can see it. We don't run analytics or advertising trackers.

Information stored on your device

Your profile name and email, tracked prices, alert preferences, and the artists and teams you follow are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. This information is not sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data, or switching browsers or devices, removes it.

Information stored on our servers

Some features only work when shared between people, so they're stored on our servers, hosted by Netlify:

  • Group plans. The name you enter, the event, and the section you choose. Anyone with the plan's invite code can see this information.
  • Referrals. Your referral code and profile name, plus the name and sign-up date of anyone who creates a profile using your link.

We don't store email addresses or contact details on our servers.

Third-party services

  • Ticketmaster Discovery API. Your browser requests event listings directly from Ticketmaster, which receives standard request information such as your IP address. Ticketmaster's privacy policy applies.
  • SeatGeek API. On event pages, your browser asks SeatGeek whether it lists the same event, so we can link to it. SeatGeek receives standard request information such as your IP address. SeatGeek's privacy policy applies.
  • Google Maps. Event pages embed a Google Maps view of the venue, which loads from Google's servers. Google's privacy policy applies.
  • Marketplaces. When you follow a link to view or buy tickets, you leave TicketScout and that marketplace's privacy policy applies.

Cookies and tracking

TicketScout does not use tracking cookies, analytics, or advertising scripts. Browser storage is used only to make the site work, such as remembering your profile and alerts.

Affiliate links

We may earn a commission when you buy through a partner link. Following a link does not share your profile information with the marketplace beyond the referral itself.

Children

TicketScout is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
