Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of terms
By using ticketscoutapp.com ("TicketScout", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. What TicketScout is
TicketScout is a ticket price comparison tool. We aggregate publicly available event and pricing information and present it alongside an estimate of each marketplace's fees, so you can compare the real, all-in cost across sources. We are not a ticket marketplace, box office, or reseller, and we do not hold inventory or sell tickets ourselves.
3. Purchases happen off TicketScout
Every "buy" or "view deal" link takes you to a third-party marketplace to complete your purchase. That transaction — payment, delivery, refunds, entry, disputes — is entirely between you and that marketplace, under their terms of service. TicketScout is not a party to it and never processes or handles your payment information.
4. Pricing accuracy
We aim for pricing to be as accurate as possible, but it comes with real limitations you should know about:
- Prices are pulled live from connected marketplaces (currently Ticketmaster) at the time you load the page, but availability and price can change by the time you check out.
- Fee estimates for each marketplace are directional, based on typical published fee patterns — not that marketplace's live fee calculation for your specific order.
- For marketplaces we haven't connected to yet, any pricing shown is illustrative only, clearly labeled est., and should not be relied on as a real, bookable price.
- The final price is always the one shown at checkout on the marketplace's own site.
5. Affiliate relationships
TicketScout earns a commission when you complete a purchase after clicking through to a partner marketplace. This does not change the price you pay, and it's how the comparison tool stays free to use.
6. No warranty
TicketScout is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that listings, prices, or seat maps are complete, accurate, or available at any given moment.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TicketScout is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from a transaction completed on a third-party marketplace, including pricing discrepancies, unavailable inventory, or issues with an order.
8. Changes
We may update these terms or the site itself as TicketScout develops — for example, as more marketplaces are connected or account features move from prototype to production. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
